Welcome to the Informatics Students Forum!
Hi! I am Meena Bhavana (not my real name, but some close friends of mine call me Mina), a student of Informatics International College (IIC) in the Philippines taking up Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies (ADCS) and will probably be graduating by March 2007. Although I am taking up a computer course, I am self-taught in PHP, MySQL, CSS and XHTML and sometimes school is just not enough. I know many of you worldwide in many of the Informatics schools all around the world may agree with me. And I have learned that most of the knowledge I got was through online forums when I needed to learn something new. Sometimes I think I know more than my teacher! Some teachers are really good, but there are also some that are really not that good at all!
So I created this blog and forum so every Informatics student around the world can converge and talk and share knowledge or just meet new friends. We can teach each other, discuss projects, share answers to exams ideas, or maybe even find your special someone, hahaha. Let’s make the forum really interactive and informative to invite more people around the world to share answers knowledge.
Simply register to post a message on the forum, contribute a story that is anything about Informatics or about the subjects we study, or ask a question. Invite your other Informatics classmates too to spread the word and build the community. Hope to hear from you soon!
Although I am from the Philippines and will invite my classmates first to post on the forum, let’s try to make it a rule to speak in English as a general language for the forum so we can invite other Informatics students around the world. We do not need to have perfect English as long as we can get the message across.

I agree with u.,i also th0ught myself using online forums.I like to know everythings about computer or any technology., im studying at informatics computer institute (SM Bicutan).. I really love this school.

hi to all students of informatics,, im frozen not my real name,, i just want to share my experienced in informatics international college philippines,, i came from informatics philippines manila,, i admit that all the lecturer there are good and knowledgeable, they are all smart, but the service is very worst,, just to clarify, informatics is not a realy business rather it is a school that provide learing to our youth, informatics here in philippines is very expensive, so please please understand if sometimes we dont have enough money to pay the tution fees,, and one thing, informatics said their students are very important and they treat their students as client, but why ms. ofel and ms. karen the registar and the cashier of informatics manila philippines are very bad to the students,, thats why i transfer to other school, but still informatics,, because i believe that somewhere along the way, informatics putting me in better future, and i trust informatics in terms of my future,, thanks a lot,, for the students of informatics not only here in philippines also in other country,, please put your comment here,, for us to know if informatics is better for us…thanks again.

well, im still not enrolled, one of the reason is that im having a second thoughts if i will really study at informatics,, coz my brother is actually studying at informatics already, and he said their computers have viruses and not updated. i read about he good and bad teachers,, my brother said he only got one good teacher.. what can you say? at first i really want to be in this school, but now im confused.. i know this s informatics webpage, but is informatics better than STI? thanks..
